Why we built ASTROMEDICS
For most of my surgical career, I watched families from Gorakhpur, Deoria and Kushinagar board trains at night carrying X-rays in plastic bags, hoping a hospital six hundred kilometres away would see them the next morning. Some of them made it in time. Many did not.
ASTROMEDICS exists because that journey should never have been necessary. We built a hospital with the technology of a metro institution and the temperament of a family doctor — a place where a cardiac emergency at 2 AM is met by a Cath Lab that is already switched on, and where the person explaining the treatment plan speaks your language.
My commitment to every family who walks through our doors is simple: honest advice, the best clinical judgement we have, and care delivered with dignity. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, every single day.
